Notre Dang! – Angels and Demons

As Obama speaks at the Notre Dame, Dan Brown's Angels and Demons coincidentally has opened in theaters across America. Keep in mind that in Angels and Demons dark forces are attempting to destroy the Catholic Church. The irony!

Reverend Sorin, the founder of Notre Dame must be rolling over in his grave at the idea of Obama speaking. And for you real historians, Obama's commencement speech at Notre Dame offends either Constantine or Jesus Himself—the real Messiah. You are the rock upon which I shall build my church – Saint Peter.

I say to Notre Dame the same thing I asked Catholics after the election: What the heck were you thinking? Catholics voted overwhelmingly for Obama. To be religious and voting for Obama are mutually exclusive. You simply cannot have both. And neither can Notre Dame.

I know that Obama claims that he is religious; however I say definitively that he is not. Obama has very few beliefs that mimic religion. Obama worships at the altar of Obama. He is not a Christian, and has revised our founding fathers' stated purpose, saying that America is not a Christian nation—a blatant lie. America is a country that welcomes all faiths; however America was founded on Christian values. I can only conclude that Obama is attempting to destroy religion…at least religion in America. And Notre Dame is providing the stage.

Obama the Impious has been to church once, since getting selected as president. Prior to that, he attended church for political expediency for twenty years. There is no way a true Christian would attend Trinity United church for a month, much less twenty years. For the "partiers" still attending this so-called church—they are there for the show. People who attend Trinity United are not there to find God, though God is there. But he is just shaking his head at those fools.

Trinity United church is full of black racists and bigots—sprinkled with a few white apologists, aka "meddlers." Twenty years in a real church and you cannot support partial-birth abortion. Twenty years in Trinity United hearing Black Liberation Theology, and as Obama said, [pp] "…determining when life begins is above his pay grade."

I wrote a while back in Abortion for Dummies that of the 6.5B people in the world today, and the 6B who are now deceased, I defy anybody to tell me which ONE of these people skipped the moment of conception? Give me just ONE? A simple conclusion to when life begins, and it is above Obama's pay grade? Yet my 16-year old understands when life begins completely. Apparently Notre Dame doesn't get it either.

Perhaps if Margaret Sanger were alive, she might be getting her honorary degree from Notre Dame since Obama exalts the high priestess of racism. The well-documented public views of Sanger were that abortion could be used to destroy "undesirables." This is what racist Democrats of today say—behind closed doors.

Here's the wrap:

Notre Dame needs a reality check. The way I see it, the university has been corrupted. I don't know who has gotten to them, though I have my suspicions.

Here is what Obama said at Notre Dame according to Yahoo News:

"But he still implored the University of Notre Dame's graduating class and all in the U.S. to stop "reducing those with differing views to caricature. Open hearts. Open minds. Fair-minded words. It's a way of life that always has been the Notre Dame tradition.""

Reducing those with differing view to caricature? I will make it simple—those with differing views are murderers. And then he invokes Notre Dame "tradition," when it suits his purposes. But let's not forget what our differing views are.

Obama is not just for abortion. Obama is so for infanticide, as he said here:

"I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."

A dark force is indeed attacking the Catholic Church. I'm just here to point him out to you. And that same dark force is attacking the core values of America.

That's my rant!

Condescending, arrogant...does he think that we don't know when he says reduce unwanted pregnancies he means abortions...abortions that the tax payers pay for, unlimited, unchecked. I was at Notre Dame today. Planned Parenthood who takes government support endorsed Obama and he made public promises and endorsed them and their agenda. They gave money to his campaign.

The Black Sphere said...

@Sheila - He does indeed think you too stupid to know that "unwanted pregnancy" are code words for abortions! That's how racist elitists think.

The silence about Margart Sanger and the real reason she wanted to extend abortion (birth control of certain races. To think that the left praises this women as founder of Planned Parenthood and raises her to some elevated status, gives me chills. I have a quick question for you,Kevin. How aware is the Black community, in general, of Sanger's eugenist beliefs? I just can't believe they really know who this women was.

The Black Sphere said...

@former - 96% of blacks know nothing about Sanger, which coincidentally is the same percentage who voted for Obama! Our job is to let the little secret out. We are doing a video to showcase this hypocrisy, just so you know.

Thank you, Kevin for pointing out that Obama considers a baby a PUNISHMENT. I have pointed this out to people since the day he said those words, but so far I've neither read or heard any other commentary on it (except my own) until today. The Bible (to which we bitterly cling, in his opinion) says that children are a BLESSING FROM THE LORD. Oboingo betrays his lack of Christian character by directly contradicting the words of Scripture. If he's a Christian, then I am a Corvette Stingray.

This is the biggest non-story to distract us from real news since the "Why did the auto execs fly jets to Washington?" story. This story has gotten more run in the media than Obama's actual overturning of the Mexico City Policy.

I graduated last year from Notre Dame and was honored with a degree for my efforts. Barack Obama has certainly accomplished more in his life than I did during my four years at Notre Dame, and that's saying a lot because I worked my ass and was very involved in campus groups.

I do not believe that life begins at conception. I am okay with embryonic stem cell research. I am not yelling, I am not ranting, I am not screaming. I am politely asking for your honest answer to this question that I have asked other conservative friends: Do you think I deserve to have my degree?

This lack of POV is what makes them cowards and spineless, however they have rationalized that they are "open-minded" and evolved. That is the core of Obama.

Great piece from Kevin, as always. My grandpa went to Notre Dame, was a devout Catholic and one of the best men this world has ever seen. I know his spirit is aghast at the fact that his alma mater is exalting this man. Obama has made it painfully obvious that he has a worldwide initiative to promote abortion, and even weaseled in ways to get planned parenthood money through medicaid- it sickens me. Nothing seems to be safeguarded from this regressive insanity, even a time-honored religious insititution like Notre Dame.

I think it's so sad to know that Obama has this mindset. I think the victims are those innocent children of his and Michelle's. Also, the innocent babies that were aborted. I knew about the history of Planned Parenthood. Learned that while I was in college. Imagine that! I am a black conservative christian woman and I stand with all of others concerning life of the unborn. I grieve and cry when I think how young minds are just "mush" right now. Have you heard of Catholics that have regretted voting for Obama? They are hypocrites! I am on my knees daily! Thank you for bringing this to light. So sad. Judging from the glowing promotional comments made by ND's president about his precious new messiah, it sounds like he is on the wrong side of much more than just abortion... immigration and health care to name a few others.

As usual, Obama even tried to make it sound as if there was a third solution or middle of the road on abortion, as if life and death itself has a middle path that he can lead us down, if only we'll believe in ourselves and stop the bickering.

Glad I didn't watch the new messiah's coronation, I mean inauguration. His booming fake preacher voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me as he spews his nothing-speak.

Maggie said...

Kevin,

I am a Catholic woman and no I did not vote for Obama (ROFL because I am an Aussie) but I would not have voted for him if I was a US citizen. I have always refused to vote for these pro-abortion cretins - but let me point out that sometimes people who are pro-abortion and anti-abortion can come together to fight something that is very evil from one point of view but from the other point of view on the grounds that it kills (we came together in our attempt to stop RU486 being allowed as a form of abortion in Australia and the other side had some very good arguments even if their conclusion was to promote another form of abortion).

I had been reading at Gateway Pundit on the ND issue. It seems that Fr. Jenkins should be retired from his role at the university. He has laid himself down on the altar of Gaia. I read the hypocritical reasons that he gave for giving the abortionist-in-chief an honorary degree, when muggins has not done anything to deserve it (not like Dolly Parton who has done a lot for her community and deserved her honorary degree).

Please note that the Bishops did come down against Fr. Jenkins and the alumni have withdrawn $13million in contributions as a protest against ND going ahead with this action.

When priests become political they tend to forget God in the process. This is very sad. Jenkins is more interested in green issues than in the fact that the abortionist-in-chief supports a stance that is contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Yes, I do see it here, and it sickens me that some religious people can get so PC and political in their way of thinking.

I live in an area in Australia where there are Catholics who seem to willingly overlook the abortionist stance of the local politician because they vote for the ALP. They just cannot see their own hypocrisy, that they should not be supporting those who push abortion or euthanasia, or embryonic stem cell research.

Maggie said...

Also to answer the question about stem cell research and the giving of a degree:

1. if the degree is earned then why should it not be received. From this angle your opinion is a private matter.

2. ND is giving Obama an honorary degree that is not deserved. He has done nothing that would deserve the awarding of a degree. The reasons given are rather hypocritical and show that the award is just political. It cheapens the character of a Catholic University to give that man an honorary doctorate.

3. There are two forms of stem cell research that receive funding. The most successful form is Adult stem cell research. There have been a lot of successes with this form of research. On the other hand embryonic stem cell research is plagued with problems including the fact that the stem cells that have been used have produced tumors in rats, and where they have been implanted, like in the Israeli boy they have produced tumors.

4. On the issue of the funding, it is up to the researchers to find private funds rather than seeking public funds for research that has ethical problems because it relies upon embryos for the extraction of the cells. They can also get cells from umbilical cord blood that is superior to the embryonic stem cells.

In other words embryonic stem cell research is a waste of public funding and that funding should be ceased in order to stop wasting taxpayer dollars on something that is unethical. The funding should go to the more promising adult stem cell research.

I hope that answers the question. It is just my opinion.

The Black Sphere said...

@Liv - I agree, that one could find middle ground on murder of innocents. So when did you become a monster, Mr. Obama?

Anonymous said...

Regarding embryonic stem cells, I second the cogent reply above, and add that I've come to the conclusion that federal funding of that research (where *new* lines of cells are being created) is fought for by the left so ardently, not because of likely gains (your own cells are better, 100% compatible), but because it defends abortion's flank by further undercutting the notion that embryos have any moral value whatsoever.

I would beg that people of faith PLEASE do not eschew making arguments against [unlimited] abortion based on reason, science, and general philosophy just because religion si your primary personal motivation. That only plays right into the hands of the "who are you to impose your religious beliefs?" counterargument, when there in fact ARE non-religious arguments against it.

The simplest?

Conception (fertilization) is the point in development at which an individual human acquires his/her own unique, distinct, and complete human genetic identity, and is the start of the process that, barring serious defect or bad luck, *will* some day become a living, breathing, thinking human being -- a person. That is *biological* fact.

In light of this, even if one has sincere disagreement over whether that one-celled embryo should legally be considered a 'person', same as the mother, to say that it is worthy of *no* moral consideration in its own right (as many hardcore pro choicers actually do insist), or only at the whim of the mother, is intellectually untenable.

The Black Sphere said...

I have already give the argument for when life begins. "Of the 12.5B people on earth living and dead, who skipped conception?" I rest my case!

Anonymous said...

:)

Well I saw the bozo in your other thread who tried to say that your reasoning would consider an individual sperm or egg a person too, so i thought it would be helpful to be a little more specific.

I think one of the thing that disgusts me the most is the way the hardcore 'pro choice' types want to hide the fact that the 'morning after' or 'emergency contraception' pills may cause an already fertilized egg to not implant (a form of abortion to you and me) by hiding behind the red herring technicality that since "pregnancy" -- as a medical condition of the mother's body -- begins with implantation, that this is not an 'abortion'.

So the people who support 'choice' for women would use deception to prevent other women from making an informed choice about their options, which might actually lull them into doing something they would otherwise consider killing and reject.

IMO *that* deserves a particular toasty spot in Hell -- and I'm not even particularly religious.

Have a good one!

This is my third comment for anonymous who claims to have a degree from ND:

1. I cannot see how being a community organizer working for ACORN entitles anyone to an honorary degree.

2. I believe that this degree has been awarded for the wrong reasons, especially when it was an election based upon racism.

3. To address the lack of belief that life begins at the moment of conception: yes it does. As soon as the two living organisms (the egg and sperm) come together a new organism is created. From that moment the cells begin to split and multiply rapidly over the 9 months it takes before delivery.

On the same subject and to add anecdotal evidence which in my mind challenges the notions behind giving the morning after pill: some people begin having symptoms of pregnancy almost immediately (within the first 24 hours). I am one of those people. The obvious symptom is nausea, which is brought about through the changes in the woman's hormonal system due to the commencement of the pregnancy. The exact date for the beginning of my first pregnancy was May 31 1977, we moved from a unit into a house and it was a very cold night. ROFL. The next day after doing some cleaning in the unit I started to be nauseous. Bingo...

Those growing cells, from that very moment were a baby being formed. Those were living cells, life since the moment of conception.

Kevin, I will answer the charge about Inquisitions and the like. For the record, I agree with your statement that it is a furphy.

However, I feel that the charge needs to be answered because the records (true records, not those made up by religious bigots) shows that there is no way that millions died as a result of the Inquisitions in Europe. The whole population of Europe was not that great.

Also on the record is evidence provided by at least one Inquistor, namely Bernard of Guys (sp) who went to towns like Toledo and where, if it had not been for the arrival of the Inquisitor innocent people would have been killed.

The anonymous poster has not dealt with the anarchy of the Albigenses and their ilk - they were anarchists, dualists and pretended to be Christians. You have to read about what they believed to understand that these were not Christians.

As for the Reformation, well more died at the hands of the Protestants, especially in Germany, Holland and England than at the hands of any Catholics. All of these deaths were at the hands of civilians.

During that period there was no separation of Church and state. I happen to be an advocate of those separation of powers as was meant by your own founding fathers.

Also, the witch trials in Salem were not the work of Catholics, but of Puritans. In England the Puritans through their leader who overtook the Parliament - Oliver Cromwell was not elected to power - many people lost their lives and Catholics were forbidden to participate in the Mass (like in the ancient days prior to Constantine making Christianity the State religion).

Whilst there were faults due to over zealous people getting involved and a few innocent people were killed, there were actually very few who died as a result of the Inquisition (not the Spanish Inquisition which was the work of Queen Isabella) those who were found guilty of a crime were handed over to the civil authority. The usual charge was anarchy.

There is a lot to be told about the true history of the Crusades rather than what is dished out by revisionists and liberals.

The Black Sphere said...

@Maggie - I already knew that but wanted the troll to have to do his/her own research. We don't deal in conjecture here, and in revisionist tactics. That is left for the lunatic left!

Maggie said...

@Kevin,
note I did not provide the material that is available :).
I have dealt with this type in the past. Some are liberal, but many are raised with a form of bigotry from various sources of fundamentalists. They all have their own versions and they use it to try and hit Catholics over the head because they think that it gives them an air of superiority, yet it shows up their own laziness and ignorance because they do not search out the real facts.

I am not ashamed of the Catholic Church and the way it handled a difficult situation at that point in time.

It is just an attempt at moral equivalence but it is a failure.

The Black Sphere said...

@Maggie - I agree. Trolls try to "change the subject." Catholics have apologize for whatever they may have done, but not the elitist racist Democrats. They are still blaming Republicans for something Repubs didn't do and never were.

No ANON, there are those who recognize that "gubment" education just didn't cut it, and they reinforced their education...supplemented it! See how you racist elitists think! You believe that your little myopia is enough info in which to judge the world. You get enough information to be stupid, then tout yourselves off as experts. The point of my article is was about abortion, not The Inquistion, which by the way you know nothing about. Maggie corrected you stupidity, which I refused to address, because the point was about abortion!

Inquisition notwithstanding, it is a statement of FACT that abortion has killed more lives than The Inquisition. And the idea that you can brush over "when life begins" with the inane discussion of The Inquisition tells more about you than even your stupid butt knows.

You are indeed a baby-killing cross-burning meddling racist. Get used to hearing that. And speaking of The Inquisition, when blacks and others figure out how you keep "playing" them, you might just get your inquisition. I know I'm one of those blacks.

Beware of those dirty hippies liberals . They're immature and irresponsible. ...All they want is free sex and legalized drugs and mandatory abortions.
Well come to think of it mandatory abortions for liberals may be a good thing!.

Hey Kevin
Switching topics here but I was wondering what you thought about this:

Maybe you can get some more funds? Oh, yeah, I forgot, conservative blacks do not get special treatment. Just ask Condi Rice, when Oprah had her highly touted "Legends" ball and failed to invite the most prominent black woman in history. That is when I turned off Oprah. How do you stand all the hypcrosy?

The Black Sphere said...

@I Aint - Agreed. We torture hippies, unless they have repented!

The Black Sphere said...

@MEG - Great catch. I will apply for my funds post-haste. As for the Libs treatment of Condi, deplorable, but predictable. I will be blogging on this soon.

The thing that has corrupted Notre Dame University is the same insidious evil that has corrupted every educational institution, many religious institutions, including for the most part main line protestant churches as well as much of the Catholic churh, and all of the Federal as well as much of the state and local government institutions. It has a Name. The Name is HUMANISM.
