McCain Goes Gloves Off - Satire

Premise: I believe over the next 30 days, this race will get hotter than a brothel on dollar day, and rightfully so. If your potential president and vice president are lying socialists terrorists, then the citizens have a right to know, at least that is my rant…

By now, most of us have heard of all the Biden lies in the debate with Palin, so I will try not to belabor these points too much, though I did find the reference to a café that is out of business very funny, and a very Bidenesque faux pas. And Biden had much more hyperbole.

An analysis of Biden’s lies begs the question, “Is this the man fit to be vice-president?” What is most troublesome to me, is Biden is Clintonesque in his ability to lie with ease. To quote the lovely Sarah Palin, “There you go again, Joe”.

In this day and time, you would think that Biden would understand that people will check the facts. When pontificating, Biden many times becomes as confused as a woodpecker in concrete forest. His solution? Make stuff up!

To his credit he knows that most people have the attention span of a mosquito. And lies stated with conviction can appear as the truth. It appears that his boss, the venerable Obama has learned this lesson as well.

Yesterday, McCain in the spirit of the Spaghetti Western rightfully called out Obama as a liar for not owning up to his associations with Bill Ayers and Rashid Khalidi. When questioned about these associations, Obama acknowledged Bill Ayers as a “…Professor at the University of Illinois”, and Rashid Khalidi as a “…Professor at Columbia University”. Impressive credentials if that was all they were. However, Obama makes no mention of Ayers as a unrepentant terrorist, and omits the fact that Khalidi is a professor of Arab Studies, and director of the Middle East Institute at Columbia, and last but not least a former PLO terrorist. I will give the Messiah an “A” for creativity in his approach…deflect. After all, who would be mad at him for hanging out with fellow academics? I haven’t witnessed such political prowess, since “The Lewinski Incident”. ”I did not have contact with those terrorists…”, finger wagging and all.

Speaking of getting the shaft, I decided to delve deeper into the pathology of Biden and Obama, and my discovery was simple, yet profound. They are pathological liars. Yes, it is really that simple. So let us examine the definition of pathological liar, and things become very clear. This passage is referenced in my footnotes, however I have highlighted areas that I believe should be considered in evaluating Obama, and my comments are in [brackets]:

[Footnote 1]To begin, the definition of pathological actually means abnormal or grossly atypical. Therefore, a pathological liar prevaricates more frequently than the average person or tells more abnormal lies. In most cases, pathological liars tell lies that are "unplanned and impulsive" (Hausman). These lies are usually very emotional stories that tend to serve no purpose except to impress people (Ford 133). As of now, psychiatrists are unsure whether or not pathological liars are fully capable of realizing if and when they are lying, so detecting whether or not a person is a pathological liar is a very difficult task (Hausman). [Simply put, they are capable of fooling the masses] Some main qualities linked with pathological liars include dysfunctional family origin, family lying patterns, anomalies of sexual life, frequent substance abuse, and a great capacity for language.

Pathological liars, or "mythomaniacs," may be suffering from histrionic personality disorder or narcissistic personality disorder. The following comments basically reflect a pathological liar who has the characteristics of histrionic personality disorder.

Some characteristics:

1. Exaggerates things that are ridiculous. [All you have to do is examine Obama’s record. He was a community organizer, who organized nothing except his own career. He was a state senator who passed no meaningful legislation, and did much the same in the US Senate. Both he and Biden have exaggerated their resumes, something most people stop doing around Sophomore year in college!]

2. One-upping. Whatever you do, this person can do it better. You will never top them in their own mind, because they have a concerted need to be better than everyone else. This also applies to being right. If you try to confront an individual like this, no matter how lovingly and well-intentioned you might be - this will probably not be effective. It's threatening their fantasy of themselves, so they would rather argue with you and bring out the sharp knives than admit that there's anything wrong with them. [Recall Obama’s comments on “the surge”]

3. They "construct" a reality around themselves. They don't value the truth, especially if they don't see it as hurting anyone. If you call them on a lie and they are backed into a corner, they will act very defensively and say ugly things […], but they may eventually start to act like, "Well, what's the difference? You're making a big deal out of nothing!" (again, to refocus the conversation to your wrongdoing instead of theirs). [As discussed earlier, Obama, Ayers and Khalidi are “college professors”, and not the radical terrorists that their histories have demonstrated. And Obama’s association with them is ‘no big deal’, since he didn’t know them, when they were committing various atrocities. Forget that he embraced them later in life, though their views have not changed in the least.]

4. Because these people don't value honesty, a lot of times they will not value loyalty. So watch what you tell them. They will not only tell others, but they will embellish to make you look worse. Their loyalty is fleeting, and because they are insecure people, they will find solace in confiding to whomever is in their favor at the moment. [Recall that Obama jettisoned Reverend Jeremiah Wright, when politically expedient, along with his White grandma, the woman who is more responsible for his upbringing, than any single person! “What have you done for me lately, Granny?”]

Now there are other characteristics of pathological liars, however I found it unnecessary to go further. As my grandfather used to say, “...If one buzzard is circling, something may be dead, but if ten buzzards are circling, something is definitely dead!”

So why did McCain decide to “put Obama on Front Street”, as we say in the vernacular, and call him out as the liar he is? Conclusion: The fallout from the financial crisis.

Truth be told, the McCain campaign doesn’t know whether to scratch its watch or wind its ass at times. I mean, announcing that they are leaving Michigan, then asking the base to continue working in the state was a bonehead move. And the campaign manager thus far has proven to be a “wit of the nit kind”. Another example is allowing Katie Curic and Charlie Gibson to interview Palin. Duh. No need to pile on, as I think you get my meaning.

So with all these campaign snafus, and the mortgage meltdown, Obama gained lots of traction over the past couple of weeks. And when you consider that McCain was actually one of the first voices of reason in attempting to prevent the mortgage crisis debacle, yet Obama has effectively made it appear that the crisis is all McCain fault. So Obama peed in McCain’s punch bowl. Lesson for McCain: “…blessed are the meek, because they make good scapegoats!” And they drink salty punch!

So in an obvious strategy shift, McCain decided yesterday to take off the gloves. With glove-free hands off, McCain grabbed Obama by those big ears, pulled his head down, and put a couple of well-placed knees in Obama’s ‘crotulus absentus [you smart people will get that one! By the way, Michelle keeps them in her purse!]. Lucky for Obama it wasn’t Bill Clinton grabbing him by the ears, but I digress.

And it won’t stop there. Expect more stump speeches, “outing” Obama as a ‘friend of terrorists’. And if we are lucky, they will run the snippets of Reverend (term used loosely) Wright, as they are priceless. It ain’t going negative, when it’s true!

That’s my rant!
