Obama Attends Funeral!

President-elect Obama didn't find time to attend his grandmother's funeral, nor has he even graced the inside of a church, since his election as POTUS. However he and Michelle found time to attend the funeral of…"the family member of a friend", according to this AP report. I find this amazing.

The funeral was not even for his friend, Eric Whitaker, but for "the family member of a friend." It makes you wonder what he owes that friend. What dirt must Eric Whitaker have on Obama to get him (1) off the basketball court, and (2) inside a Christian religious dwelling?

Maybe Whitaker has video of Obama's birth in Kenya? Or pictures of him in compromising position(s) with his male friend, since people have accused him of being on the "down-low", at least at one point?

Another interesting tidbit is the fact that reporters weren't allowed into the funeral, apparently snubbed. Astounding that Obama is obviously feeling cocky enough to snub the people who got him elected. He probably figures that the media is like the Black vote…in the bag. Silly Negros!

Finally the notion that reporter didn't even try to find out who died is certainly worth mentioning. If Bush had tried this, they would be saying that the person who died had been shot by Cheney in a hunting accident, and they would have camped out, until they either got their answer or could create something.

Since we don't know who died, let's do a quick roll call: Joe Biden? Present. Reverend Wright? Present. Bill Ayers? Present. Rashid Khalidi? Present. Bill Clinton?...Bill Clinton?

Abortion for Dummies

Part III of a three-part series:

So the debate around abortion centers around when is a developing embryo considered a human. But I say that the real debate is,

"When do want to rationalize the murder of a human?"

And in the tradition of The Black Sphere, I will prove my point beyond argument from the other side.

To begin the debate, a few definitions are in order.

A – Pro-Choice - People who believe that abortion is birth control, and should be wielded as recklessly as a woman decides, because it's her body.

B - Pro-life - People who believe that under no circumstances should a woman have an abortion, and that once a woman conceives life, she is bound to protect both lives.

C - Pro-life-Pro-Choice - People who believe that what a woman choose to do with her body is impossible to legislate, however they believe that a woman should not choose abortion.

C(i) – Subgroup I - Under any circumstances

C(ii) – Subgroup II – Except in cases of rape, incest, life of the mother, grave illness of the child, and so on.

This is an area where Conservatives can be split, though I suspect at our core we mostly agree with "C" or one of its variant forms that I have described.

Now for everybody except Pro-Choice, euphemism for Abortionists, which is what I will call them, there is little debate about when life begins. So I am writing this mostly to Abortionists, as a definitive and irrefutable explanation of when life begins.

So I ask you this question? Of the roughly 6.5 billion people alive today and the 6 billion who have died, is there any one of them who skipped the first trimester or even the first week of development? How about the first day or conception altogether? Let me save you some time, the answer is, "No".

So what this means is that there is not a single person alive or dead who could have had their first trimester disrupted and survived. So this is definitive logic that we are human at conception. I will pay $10K to any of you who can debate me successfully on this point. You know what, why not make it $100K?

So I go back to my original treatise that, this is less of a debate on when we are human, and moreso on when we can rationalize killing a human. I think this is a much more lively debate.

Abortionists argue that it is ok to kill a human in the first trimester. They say that we look like tadpoles or seahorses during this time. Maybe that sounds like a reasonable rationalization for killing a human? After all, it doesn't look human!

Kervorkianists might say that it's ok to kill people in their waning years of life, for no other reason than septuagenarians are just too difficult to deal with. Or as Obama said about new born babies who escaped abortion, "Why should she be burdened with it?"

Essentially what Abortionists are telling us is that they will take the easy way out. "In sickness and in health" for wedding vows will be 'changed' (get it?) to "In health only, because if you get sick, I will abort your ailing butt". Kick you to the curb. Throw you under the bus!

Isn't it refreshing to think that there is a group of people out there who view human life at whatever stage as a matter of convenience for them?

It is irrefutable that we all started the same. We were human at conception, not in the second or third trimester, or any other derivative therein. All this discussion is really about is: "When is it ok to kill a human and not have to feel guilty about it?" I dare you to prove me wrong.

Google 'abortion images' and tell me what you see. It's not tadpoles and seahorses, that I guarantee you.

Terrorism…Post Election

Apparently the Pakistani and Patil terrorists didn't get the memo. Yes, the memo about Obama winning the election. Or perhaps they were unable to see the light that was to have shone down upon all the world?

As for this latest terrorist attack in Mumbai against Americans, I was under the mistaken impression that the election of president-elect Obama was supposed to change the view on Americans around the world and end terrorism against us? I guess the light of hope and change only works in US time zones?

According reports I heard, the Mumbai terrorists targeted Jews, Brits, and most of all…Americans. It is as I have always believed, that Islamo-terrorist believe in Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere may be happy. Who wants happiness, when you can have an oppressive theocracy?

In urging other terrorists to remain firm and resolute, Ayman al-Zawahiri of "House Negro" fame said, "Your enemy's stagger has begun, so don't stop hitting him." It appears that the Mumbai terrorists may have heeded his advice.

The attack in Mumbai got me thinking about the level of planning that it took to pull this off. The terrorists attacked multiple sites, and carefully selecting places where all the intended victims would be. Thoughtfully planned and well orchestrated, reminiscent of 9/11. But if you want to attack Americans, why not come to the source…America? Hmmm…

I am often asked by Liberals, "What has George Bush done for America...Would you like fries with that?" Over the past few days, they got their answer. "What did Bush do in the War on Terror?", is what I will answer now, but I will cover more on the Bush legacy at a later date.

First, Bush followed the money. He put economic pressure on terrorists and those sponsoring terrorism, by freezing their assets...and threatening other body parts as well!

Freezing the assets was a bold move, and not anticipated by the terrorists or their consorts. This move sent a shockwave throughout the terrorist community, since (1) they were now broke, and (2) their sympathizers had to cut them off, lest lose America as a market, or worse yet feel the wrath of a pissed off America. You do recall that day when Liberals actually were patriotic? Ah, the good old "day"!

Next, Bush established the Office of Homeland Security. Why? Because the various law enforcement agencies were not talking to each other, which is why the attacked was not thwarted to begin with. This combined agency has dogged terrorist all over the world, and has them hiding in mountains, saying "Can you hear me now?" These cockroaches won't come out in the light of day, because the military has predator drones waiting on them to send missiles to "hit 'em, where the good Lord split up".

The obvious outcome of terrorists with no money or friends, being chased by a combined and focused worldwide law enforcement community? No attacks on American soil.

To think that an attack like this would not occur on Americans because Obama is president-elect is naïve. To think it will stop is even more naïve. On the one hand you have terrorists hell-bent on destroying the infidels, i.e. us. And as I like to say to Liberals, "on the other hand, you have…different fingers". The terrorists don't care who is in the White House, as their beliefs are truly color-blind.

The election of Obama may have given the naïve of the world a new "rock star", however the terrorists remain unimpressed. Obama's own Muslim people have abandoned him, and are in fact taunting him, as al-Zawahiri did but a few days ago.

But no Mumbai-like incident has happened in America since 9/11. And we have George W Bush to thank for this. Now the next question is, "What will happen on Obama's watch?" Truly a scary thought.

Liberal Mania at Wal-Mart?

And who said New Yorkers were "kindler and gentler"? Perhaps. But not on Black Friday.

As you have likely heard, a Wal-Mart employee at one of their Long Island, New York stores was trampled to death, as shoppers knocked him down in their rush to get to the goods.

Now if you were like me, you may have thought the victim to be some septuagenarian "greeter", who was unable to dodge the oncoming hoard. But in fact the victim was a 34-year old man. I guess he should have removed that McCain/Palin button?

What intrigues me about this is that in one of the most Liberals states in America, these hypocrites were out shopping at Wal-Mart, a company Liberals decry. I guess it is one thing to want the union vote, but yet another to shop where it's cheap due to what?…lack of a union!

How do you prosecute the offenders in this tragedy? My bet is that nobody will be held responsible. After all, it's not like somebody trampled a Spotted Owl or something. The victim was just a lower-class, underpaid, non-union human-being, working for an oppressive, predatory big retailer. Sounds like he had it coming, huh?

Obama Worships in Basketball Gym

In the wake of the Trinity United church controversy, the Obama's began attending the Apostolic Church of God, 6320 Dorchester Ave, however it doesn't appear that they are going that often. If their charitable contributions are any indication, the church won't miss them that much.

Politico.com reports that,

"President-elect Barack Obama has yet to attend church services since winning the White House earlier this month, a departure from the example of his two immediate predecessors," and he has indeed elected to play basketball."

Asked about the president-elect's decision to not attend church, a transition aide noted that the Obamas valued their faith experience in Chicago, but were concerned about the impact their large retinue may have on other parishioners. The aid went on to further say,

"Because they have a great deal of respect for places of worship, they do not want to draw unwelcome or inappropriate attention to a church not used to the attention their attendance would draw."

Well attention indeed, because Obama's attendance in the church might confuse the faithful into believing that the rapture is at hand. Remember, the media told us that Obama is "the second coming". Praise Jesus!

So as the article went on to say, Obama chooses to find religious solace in the basketball gym. Missing Sunday service must pain him dearly, devout Muslim…oops I mean Christian that he is. The sacrifice he makes for us evangelicals.

In what Obama has described as "the worst economic crisis in American history…no, well not quite as bad as The Great Depression…no, well not quite as bad as during the Carter administration", anyway who, but our Messiah can get us through. Who can we look to for "change"?

Fear not America. The president-elect has a crack staff to make his decisions for him. They afford him the leisure of shooting hoops in the name of the LAWD. Can I get a witness? [towel wipe] Hallelujah!

Yes, the appointment of all the Clinton cronies and other Washington retreads has afforded the president-elect more time than he anticipated. Translated: With Billary in for their 3^rd term, he just needs to show up at press conferences and look "presidential".

Now please don't consider me a right-wing neocon cracker spewing inflammatory rhetoric and creating trouble for our new leader. I will leave that to the experts on the other side of the color line, namely Sharpton and Jackson. They have the time now.

Nevertheless, what troubles me is that The Messiah apparently feels that he no longer needs the evangelicals now that the election is over. And I thought the marginalization of the Black vote by White politicians was the height of hypocrisy. But Obama pimped Gentiles, Jews, and yes…Muslims too!

With a firm spiritual base that one gets on the basketball court, it's no wonder why he supports partial birth abortion and teaching sex education to 2^nd-graders. Who's got next game?

POTUS Saves Puppy

This is the first in a three-part series on Abortion. I will be joined by Lisa Brinks, Wake Up Conservatives! on the left column. Lisa will be writing Part II.

Part I - The Issue of Abortion in Bizarro World

A newborn puppy is found abandoned on the street in Hollywood, an obvious attempt of somebody to get rid of it. A passerby sees the puppy moving the blanket in which it was wrapped, and decides to take a look.

People begin to gather around, until finally there are quite a few onlookers, including celebrities and paparazzi. Finally one male onlooker says, "Let's kill it to put it out of its misery. Obviously the mother didn't want it".

PETA, the ASPCA, Ellen, Rosie, Whoopi, "Liberated women" from all over America, and finally the ACLU all come to the aid of the puppy, attacking the man for wanting to kill an innocent puppy. "How could you do something so cruel, and to something so helpless?", they yell. Feeling threatened, the man runs for his life.

Just then the presidential limo pulls up, and president Obama gets out. He inquires about all the commotion. Obama seizes the opportunity for the "bigger picture", and begins to opine.

"It's a tragedy what has been done to this puppy. [cheers] The idea that its mother would abandon it, in a sense aborting its right to a happy life is uh, a tragedy. But we can't blame the mother. [cheers] No. [cheers] Listen to me now. She was forced to this terrible choice, because of eight years of the failed Bush administration policies. [cheers] No, it's not her fault.

Well this puppy will have a chance at life. Because I am a beacon to America and the world, and I will provide a ray of hope and change for this puppy. [cheers] So I will adopt this puppy, and he will be the new White House pet."

There is worldwide media hysteria and the headlines the next day read, "POTUS Saves Puppy". People around the world rejoice. The Messiah has shown his grace to the puppy. What a lucky puppy it is.

Asked what he would name the puppy, Obama replies "...in response to America's commitment to poverty, I am naming the presidential pet 'FeedUs'".

The media is abuzz, and begins to explain to the public how magnanimous Obama was in adopting the puppy, but now he has transcended sainthood, and gone directly to god status by bringing attention to the issue of world hunger.

The next day papers around the world read, "POTUS Saves Fetus".

Such is Bizarro World, where the leader of our country would rather save a puppy, than save a human baby. Let's recall Obama's comments on a child surviving an attempted abortion: "Why should she [the woman] be burdened with it [the baby]?"

Welcome to Bizarro World, aka ObamaNation!

I am publishing a posting from one of my acquaintances, Vince Conard, in its entirety, as I found it eerily close to my rants, and certainly something I would rant about. So enjoy the smooth stylings of Mr. Vince Conard…

This is the cover of the latest edition of The New Republic, a leftist leaning (center-left maybe?) magazine. What's YOUR reaction?

Maybe if you're an Obamamaniac (Those who WORSHIP Obama as the messianic magic mystical mulatto who will heal the world!) you're offended by the apparent suggestion that Obama really has no identity; that he's merely the figurehead for the CLINTONS' THIRD TERM.

Or, perhaps, if you're an Obamatron (Those of you who do not necessarily WORSHIP him, but have concluded that he's sooooo articulate, sooooo telegenic, soooooo fit and trim, that, well, gee, the guy simply APPEARS Presidential, right?! He's got the Presidential aura, no? So...), you APPRECIATE the fact that Obama has wisely (?) coopted Slick Willy's staff.

Then again, you Obamacans ("Republicans" who actually voted FOR Obama!? HUH?!) may be saying (hoping?) that, hey, the dude ran a brilliant, 3 year campaign where he CHANGED HIS POSITIONS on: withdrawing the troops from Iraq in 16 months; campaign finance reform; NAFTA; meeting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without preconditions; repealing the Bush tax cuts for "the rich"; lobbyists; off-shore drilling; etc, etc. Maybe you Obamacans may be optimistic that he'll run his administration with the same political pragamatism (or, what some see as, an inherent lack of core values/principals) as he ran his campaign. So, even though he vowed to CHANGE politics as usual in Washington D.C., his dependence on the ClintonS (that's right: "The CLINTONS" -- plural!) is the C.H.A.N.G.E. we need.

The Art of Illusion

I was at a concert last night, and they actually had pictures of Obama on the large screen, to which the audience screamed in delight. I thought to myself, "Never has somebody done so little, but been perceived to have accomplished so much". Perception can be a powerful illusion.

I am a fan of magic, and watch a show called "Mindfreak". The show is about the illusions of Criss Angel, and I must say that he is an extraordinary magician. So much so in fact that I have accused him of being possessed by the devil…joking of course.

What I enjoy most about Criss Angel is his ability to alter my perspective on reality. His illusions cause me to think differently. As is the duality of life, I have also hated not knowing how he performed these illusions, leaving me "mindfreaked".

Left to my own devices, I may never have figured out how these illusions were performed. I would have likely just continued to pseudo believe in my altered reality, never really knowing perception from reality. Then along comes the Masked Magician.

The Masked Magician is every magician's nightmare, because on his show he exposes the tricks that magician's use to perform illusions. And though there is still art in performing the "trompe l'oeil", the Masked Magician restores reality for the viewer. He shows you that you are not as dumb as you think, and that magicians are just very clever people, playing with your mind.

Once the Masked Magician reveals how an illusion is performed, you can actually feel your mind expand. After watching one episode of Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed, you may never look at illusions the same. And that goes for Obama's political illusions as well.

Obama has enjoyed performing illusions on the political scene for quite some time, but he finally "got his own show" in the last two years. You don't become a master political illusionist and get your own show, unless you have invested quite a lot of time in your craft.

Take for example Obama's record. It is a total illusion. As I and others have documented, there are no accomplishments. Just "ok" speeches from time to time. However with a slight tweak here and there, a 'community organizer' can become a civic leader. Slow, deliberate speech that says nothing, can be perceived as having enormous substance and impact. A record of accomplishing nothing can be perceived as the ability to accomplish anything.

Let's examine a few more illusions that The Great ObamaCon performed while running for president:

Public financing is for me
I don't have terrorist friends
Terrorists are just university professors
I'm not Muslim, I'm a Christian
I'm a Christian (no this is not redundant!)
My church is not racist
I loved my grandma, I'm sad she's gone
Reverend "who?"
No Washington insiders for me
I really do have good ideas for America
My internet site – Now you see it, now you don't
Failed Bush policies of the last 8 years
Change we need
Born in the USA
No terrorist donations accepted

And after the election, Obama added to his act with such illusions as:

The Clintons are not in charge
I think I do need Washington insiders
Bailouts are not for union votes
I'm really not a socialist [just my ideas are]
Change we need (reprise)
I really do have good ideas for America (reprise)
Trust me, I'm a lawyer

Obama the Creator of 2.5M Jobs

Obama the Creator says he will create 2.5M new jobs by 2011. I don't know about you, but I got "all tingly down my leg", when I heard the news. As The Black Sphere always does, we will enlighten you on Obamaspeak, so you are in the know, and not snowed by what the mainstream media will try to force-feed you.

The first thing to question in this job creation is "Where"? Korea, Thailand, China? Believe me when I tell you that you must think like a lawyer, when listening to ObamaSpeak.
Next, the Obama Web site on Saturday said his plan will "save or create" 2.5 million jobs, which Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs took a slightly more firm stance later Saturday saying that the plan "will save and create" the 2.5 million jobs. So my next questions are how many job will be saved, and how many will be created? There is not a whole lot of proof that one can present for "saving" jobs, as that is somewhat nebulous in my opinion. For all intents and purposes, any job not lost is saved. What I am saying folks is Obama put in a "back door" in the software code. I bet he will later take credit for saving more than 2.5M jobs, with the support of the media.

One way Obama plans on "saving" jobs is he and his henchmen, Pelosi and Reid plan on hijacking the auto industry. With this takeover they will take claim for saving over a million jobs, with our tax money. The Black Sphere broke the story that the auto industry bailout was simply the Democrat's ploy to protect the unions. No smart investor would consider bailing out the auto industry. But the Fed will. And we all know how great the government is at running things efficiently...and for profit. Liberals like to reward failure by throwing money at it.

You see, somebody has to take care of "crackhead" Liberal companies. Liberal companies? Those who don't see innovation as the way to profit, and continue inane policies, with the expectation that it's ok to lose money on a product, as long as you make it up in volume!

So Pelosi essentially said, [paraphrase] "We will make them dance, before we show them the money!" Sounds like good collateral to me. How about every American getting a Navigator, as part of this plan, as this could be the "mule" Blacks were promised. Next, our 40 acres! I digress...

Regardless of the number of "saved" jobs, which I argue will be zero, zil, nada, I want to focus on the so-called "created" jobs. I contend that they missed an adjective… government. Since Obama has not had an original idea his entire life, he will try to walk in the footsteps of another socialist Democrat, namely FDR.

Now in 'guvment' school, they teach that FDR was the savior of America during The Depression. And today Obama is being compared to him by the media? Fitting comparison, as you will learn. You see, those same schools have taught us that Democrats are responsible for the Civil Rights movement…another fallacy. So the idea that they got the FDR story wrong is no surprise. So I will set the record straight.

FDR did not save America, WWII did. And further research has been uncovered that FDR's policies actually prolonged the depression. Like Emanuel has said about Obama's plan, they will "take advantage of any calamity", which is essentially what FDR did to introduce socialism to America, policies that I believe are in danger of bankrupting America.

Meg Sullivan writes in her piece titled "FDR's policies prolonged Depression by 7 Years",

"Two UCLA economists say they have figured out why the Great Depression dragged on for almost 15 years, and they blame a suspect previously thought to be beyond reproach: President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

After scrutinizing Roosevelt's record for four years, Harold L. Cole and Lee E. Ohanian conclude in a new study that New Deal policies signed into law 71 years ago thwarted economic recovery for seven long years.

"Why the Great Depression lasted so long has always been a great mystery, and because we never really knew the reason, we have always worried whether we would have another 10- to 15-year economic slump," said Ohanian, vice chair of UCLA's Department of Economics. "We found that a relapse isn't likely unless lawmakers gum up a recovery with ill-conceived stimulus policies.""

Reminiscent of the Raw Deal…excuse me, the New Deal policies, Obama said,

"We'll put people back to work rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges, modernizing schools that are failing our children, and building wind farms and solar panels,"

And, president-elect Obama reminded us that,

"There are no quick or easy fixes to this crisis, which has been many years in the making, and it's likely to get worse before it gets better."

Don't you just love Obama's "out" clauses? "…and it's likely to get worse before it gets better." You can bet that it will, Barry. That is what happens when you put unqualified, power-hungry African dictators in positions of power. Just look at the history of Obama's continent, Africa, and how countries have done in a regime change.

The wrap. Obama has never created ONE job in his entire life, yet he wants to convince us that all is well, now that he is in charge. When the bulk of your adult life has been spent working for the government, I don't put a lot of stock in his ability to create anything except hot air. There went my tingly feeling.

Hillary Clinton – Voice of America?

It's worth revisiting certain things, and Senator Hillary Clinton's record is one such thing. After all, she is touted to become the 3^rd person in line for the presidency, and the voice of America to the world. Watch your backs, Fellas!

But, what I find interesting and yes satirically humorous is that nobody is questioning Clinton's credentials in this role. So as is the role of The Black Sphere, we must educate you, then take you to the Liberal Zoo (there's one in every city) to showcase the Liberals at play. So let's take a field trip, shall we?

With this astounding record of achievement, it is no wonder president-elect Obama selected Senator Clinton. I mean who could argue that such a position is payback for support of president-elect Obama when one weighs the impact of such a legislative ledger?

And why not make Senator Clinton the US' ambassador to the world? After all, when we look at her legislative accomplishments, there is plenty to point to her experience in world affairs. Well there is, uh…well surely there is something? Yes..."The support of goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month", that is certainly a world issue. Better hearing and speech is an important global issue!

And then there is, uh.."Assist landmine victims in other countries", yes that one!

So see, she is eminently qualified for this role, and she is the "change we need".

When we consider the legislative record of the person making the appointment, to quote a popular Billy Preston song from the 70s, "Nothin' from Nothin' Leaves Nothin'"! You gotta have somethin', if you wanna be-ee with me!

Obama – House Negro

I normally don't find myself agreeing with terrorists, however I have to agree with Ayman al-Zawahiri, in his depiction of Obama as a "house Negro". As I have written recently, I find all the moves Obama is making reminiscent of the 3^rd Clinton term. So I deem Obama's term "Black Power with White Supervision."

On O'Reilly tonight Sharpton denounced al-Zawahiri for calling president-elect Obama a "house Negro". Yet it was Al Sharpton who in fact gave General and Secretary of State Colin Powell his battlefield demotion to "house Negro". Since Powell subsequently endorsed Obama, perhaps Sharpton would like to retract the demotion, and reinstate Powell's former rank of "field Negro"?

Now al-Zawahiri mentioned Secretary Powell and Condoleeza Rice as "house Negros" as well, so might we speculate that Powell's demotion could have influenced Obama's demotion in the Arab world? It is a theory worthy of consideration.

All this said, perhaps the real question is, "Why has the terrorist world turned its back on Obama, demoting him to 'house Negro'?" Maybe they are upset at the amount of unaccounted monies they sent to Obama's campaign, yet they are not properly represented in his cabinet? Obama is certainly pandering to other groups. Let's take a look…

With the appointment of Eric Holder whom I believe will be the "token" Black, Obama at least patronized Blacks.
The appointment of Emanuel appears to have satisfied the Jews. But nothing for the terrorists.
Consider that Massa Bill will get his ambassadorship. One of my readers said that she hoped he would be sent to a country that practices cannibalism, so "hat tip" to her for that idea.
Miss Hillary is getting the #3 spot, thus satisfying the "affirmative action" quota for unqualified White women.
And now Obama has bolstered the women's vote further with the appointment of Napolitano as Chief of Homeland Security. I really felt comfortable he would appoint one of his terrorist friends to this position, but he fooled me on this one.

Various other appointments have kept most of the misfits from rattling their cages, but again, nothing for terrorists!

So we can all see why al-Zawahiri is a bit upset. However, I have it from Washington insiders that negotiations are underway to fill at least one cabinet post with a terrorist. The short list of candidates is as follows:

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - President of Iran. Considered the front-runner for any cabinet position due to his staunch stance against Israel.
Hugo Chavez - President of Venezuela. Considered a strong contender due to his outspoken criticism of the US.
Hu Jintao - President of China. Marginal candidate, as it is believed that China will own the US within four years anyway.
Kim Jong II – He is considered a longshot, as it is theorized that he may be dying
Fidel Castro – Supreme Leader of Cuba. (See Kim Jong Il)

Liberal States Seeing Red

Bailout - Part III

So the socialists' policies are finally catching up with the Liberal states. I knew it was just a matter of time. And as California likes to brag that they are the leader in issues moving across the country, here is leadership they can be proud of. They lead the states in deficit spending.

A couple of months ago California had a $15B budget shortfall, amongst the largest in state history, according to a NY Times article. And now they face an $11B deficit that they may not be able to pay this spring. So what's happening?

"The plunging revenues — the result of an unusual assemblage of personal, sales, capital gains and corporate taxes falling significantly...".

Translation: Corporation taxes are not falling; corporations are moving out of California and into neighboring states. Arizona and especially Nevada send their thanks!

The article continues,

"Mr. Schwarzenegger, a Republican, and state legislators are preparing to do battle over a proposed 1.5-cent sales tax increase, while in New York, Mr. Paterson, a Democrat, has proposed $5.2 billion worth of savings, principally cuts to Medicaid and education."

Schwarzenegger, a bona fide RINO is looking to increase the sales tax, though his Republican congress likely won't allow it. Thankfully there is some sanity in the land of fruits and nuts. Paterson, the Democrat in New York may finally be trying to get it right by cutting spending. This would be ironic, if Schwarzenegger were a true Conservative Republican, but I will give a "Wear a Cup" to Paterson for taking this stance.

Anyway, the Blue State woes don't stop with these two strongholds of Liberalism, as Maryland and Virginia are beset with issues as well. Here is what the Washington Times reported back in August:

"Despite national political trends that should bode well for Democrats, these are not happy days for a pair of local Democratic Party "stars": Gov. Martin O'Malley of Maryland and Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia. The two regional leaders, activist liberals who aren't terribly shy about spending other people's money, find themselves in the very uncomfortable position of making the political rounds telling their constituents about the need for belt-tightening. At least in the short term, they are taking a political drubbing as a result of 1) the poor national economy, which is depressing state tax revenues; and 2) their own irresponsible spending plans and overpromising."

Does the part about irresponsible spending and overpromising sound familiar? In a word…Obama.

So that's four Liberal states and counting. And if you will link to this interactive map, you will see that it only gets worse for Liberal states. Now this is not to say that Conservative states don't have their issues, because many of them have succumbed to the "tax and spend" policies of the Liberals, and thus are running deficits as well. However what you will see is the trend that many Conservative states are either not running deficits at all or are running much smaller deficits than the average their Liberal counterparts. As for the Liberal states, they are "putting band-aids on bullet holes. "

And most of these states have their hands out. They are like a gang of little gypsy pickpockets fleecing the American taxpayer. Just like the auto industry, another Liberal testament to inefficiency.

Liberal politicians have created their own crises in their states with their promises, and vote buying, and then have the nerve to ask the taxpayers foot the bill. Have I made the pattern clear enough here? If you are stupid on the micro level, you are just as stupid on the macro level. What's my point? Liberals can't run businesses (with only anecdotal exceptions), and they certainly can't run state or Federal economies.

So just as the people, not Congress, told the auto industry that enough is enough, we now must spread this message to the states and ultimately the Fed. Our message should resonate so loudly their teeth chatter. We must let them know that the days of deficit spending have ended, and that they tell their precocious Liberal constituent children, "No". They can't have everything they want, and the government is not there for their whims.

We are at an opportune time to spank Liberal politicians for pandering, then leave their constituents high and dry. We can show the world that Liberal politicians are con artists, pure and simple. Yes I said it!

Why do we need to begin this re-education of the American public? Because if you believe the financial crisis and the auto crisis are major issues, just wait until you meet the mother of all crises: The Entitlement Crisis.

$10 Trillion in unfunded Social Security, and speculation is that Medicare/Medicaid will be $40+ Trillion.

In The News 11-19-08

Anybody looking for a Japanese automaker…cheap? Ford has joined GM, taking their stake in Mazda to the pawn shop. GM received $230M for Suzuki, and Ford will receive $538M for their stake in Mazda. My question is, "What took you soon long?"

The auto industry is already on the hook for $25B, but without any qualms, they have "come a callin'" yet again for another $25B. Asked today if he thought this would be the last time he and his cronies would come to the well for another drink, and the chairman of GM stated that [paraphrase],

"…if you [Congressman] can assure us that the financial markets will be better, then we won't have to ask for more".

Wow, I can't wait to invest in a business that says publicly that their survival depends solely on a robust economy, and not necessarily the company's ability to produce a good product! The congressman commented, "So you will be back."

Julian Bond has taken the election of Obama as his time to announce his retirement as chairman of the NAACP. The NAACP has a new CEO, Benjamin Jealous, and will replace Bond as well. My thought? With a new Black president, shouldn't they just shut the entire organization down?

Today was the 30^th anniversary of the term "drinking the kool-aid", yes the Jonestown Massacre was 30 years ago today. This is still the 2^nd largest group of Americans to die, the largest being the folks who died during the World Trade Center towers terrorist attack.

What most people may not remember about the Jonestown incident is that Jim Jones was supported by Jerry Brown, who would later become the governor of California, of course a Democrat. And the incident that prompted the "the final solution", was when Rep Jackie Speier a Democrat from California was shot five times while trying to leave Jonestown. Apparently that Democrat didn't find Nirvana in Jonestown as expected.

File this under "Bonehead Move". I started monitoring the news coming from Yahoo a while back, because I found it to be very liberal in its reporting. Well I now know why.

One of Yahoo's founders and CEO Jerry Yang will be stepping down. The noteworthy thing here is that Microsoft attempted to buy Yahoo a few months back for roughly $31 a share. Yang was chiefly responsible for the sale not happening. Well today the stock is selling for roughly $10. So I know that company is being run by Liberals.

I have to say that Yang does have guts. If I were him, I would have made this announcement from a tropical location…by Blackberry. I wonder if they will be throwing him a party?

File this under "Desperation". Yes, the financial disaster created by Barack Obama, Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd, and their predecessors, namely Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton has affected Americans to such a degree, that people are considering… joining the military! You know you must be desperate for work, when your life will depend on the protection of Barack Hussein Obama and a Congress controlled by Democrats!

CITIGROUP: Citigroup steps up. Yes today Citigroup announced that they will be cutting 52,000 jobs, so they get my "Wear Your Cup" award. They didn't run to the government begging for a bailout, like a bunch of pansies. They did what companies do in trying times, which is to cut costs, tighten the belt.

Unlike the automakers who refuse to confront the unions, who instead are attempting to extort the Fed.

"If we fail, it will be catastrophic to the US economy", said one auto industry executive.

Whatever. File bankruptcy. This is the time for the auto industry to become circumspect, and to stop being a dinosaur. Will it hurt, yes, just like Citibank, but they made the bold move.

What Obama Has in Store for 18-25 Year Olds

As I have posted on multiple occasions, [The Obama Voter, Obama More 'Lincolnesque' Than I Thought, and A Study of the Brain] the average Obama voter is not exactly swimming in the deep end of the gene pool. Yes, there are so-called intellectuals who voted for Obama. The reason I call them so-called, is that most of that group may be well-versed in say Horticulture, and to this I say, "you can bring a whore to culture, but that doesn't make her an intellectual".

Anyway, the group on which I want to focus for this blog is the 18-25 year old demographic.

Obama targeted this group, because they are so politically astute; the pulse of America, right? He advertised in their video games, and you could see his face on NBA '08 on sideline banners, and as you drove through the streets in Grand Theft Auto (fitting).

It was impossible to log onto the internet without seeing the faces of Obama and Biden, and that irritating mantra, "The Change We Need". Obama had Facebook, LinkedIn, and all other social networks covered, and even I, The Black Sphere was invited to join ObamaNation, which I less than respectfully declined.

Based on Obama's marketing machine, 18-25 year olds came out in droves to support him. It was blind faith, most putting more faith in "change", than they do in God. They were like 'Stepford Wives', chanting "Change We Need…Change We Need". But as the saying goes, "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it".

Rahm Emanuel said recently (see video) that 18-25 year olds will be required to serve three months (maybe more) in service to the Motherland. Unpaid service. He then said that he wouldn't quibble if somebody wanted it to be four months. I say, why not a year? Two years? Just leave it vague and see how much pressure it takes to burst the pipe?

And if that is not enough, president-elect Obama has said that he believes we need a civilian force, that is equivalent to the regular military! News alert, president-elect Obama, it's called The National Guard. But you obviously have something different in mind. So who would run this ragtag group of Blackberry bandits? Community Organizers?

This began sounding very Orwellian to me. But then I decided to take a kinder, gentler look at this proposal by Der Fuhrer Obama. My conclusion: Obama really is a great pimp, like I said in Taxacious!

This is brilliant! Obama puts millions of his youngest "stable" to work, for free, and the benefit goes to him. He doesn't have to put them on unemployment or pay them. This is some serious pimping folks!

And as for the civilian military idea, is Obama attempting to wrestle real control from the generals? I say yes, because American generals likely don't have a lot of respect for their new Kenyan leader. Obama can now then split their funding, thus taking the teeth out of the real military, and put a lot of money in the hands of bureaucrats. And we all know how well bureaucrats have done with our tax money so far.

Here's another idea. Why not appoint "whistle-blowers" who report people who talk bad against the regime? I don't know about you, but I feel safer already.

The Obama Voter

By now, many of you have seen the post-election interview of Obama supporters, where they are asked twelve questions, and essentially proved that they know nothing about real political issues. I file this under "Duh"!

It is a fact that the Conservative voter is much smarter than the average Liberal voter. To what degree is up for debate, but in my own personal analysis of Conservatives to Liberals, I would say it is akin to comparing humans to chimpanzees. Close in DNA, but don't let the chimps watch the kids!

And if you have seen the video of how any perceived issues against McCain/Palin were "front and center", while the gaffs of Obama Bin Biden were simply ignored, then you likely get an understanding of how marketing, aka "the media" works.

It was the media who got John McCain the Republican nomination in fact. Why? Because they knew that he would not win. They knew they could convince McCain that they were his friend, the same way Brutus was a friend of Caesar…et tu, Brute!

History has proven how Liberal America treats its wounded veterans attempting to seek the highest office in the land. Remember how people made fun of Bob Dole's inability to lift one of his arms? An injury he received while fighting for this country. And McCain was brutally beaten in a POW camp, having his arms and shoulders broken to the point where he can now barely use them. But instead of his battered body being a badge of honor for Americans, a testament to American will, the media joked that McCain was a technological stooge, unable to do something as easy as typing an email. We would learn that it is painful for McCain to lift his arms to type. Too bad Dole can't lift that arm high enough to give Liberal America the finger, and that McCain can't lift his arms enough to choke the crap out of them.

Liberal Americans are like little schoolyard menaces, who can't wait to poke fun at the kid with the limp, not knowing that the kid got that limp savings the life of a friend. But they like the nerd who has the Blackberry.

And in this day where style has trumped substance, I say to America, when you are dumb enough to select a guy to lead you who carries his Blackberry as a symbol of America, over a guy who carries his battered body as his symbol of America, you deserve what you get. "Duh!"

Hear About the Funeral?

I find it very interesting there has been no discussion about Obama's grandmother's funeral. She died three days before Obama was officially elected, and I haven't heard anything about Obama and his family attending her funeral. When you do a search on her, there is very little, like something about a church wanting to boycott the funeral. Again, there are no real details on the funeral itself, except to say it was a "private event".

Given how long she has been deceased, one would theorize that she must have been buried by now? And if Obama attended, then the media "call girls" would be enlightening us on how solemn the event was, and how reflective and contemplative Obama was…"how
presidential he appeared to be".

Now I have blogged on Obama's lack of friends and family who supported his campaign, something I find odd to say the least. Given that most of his friends appear to be terrorists and former criminals (some might argue that some still are), I will forgive their absence. Lord knows the "friend bus" is running and it's dangerous to be a passenger on it, lest one finds oneself under it. But I don't understand family not being a part of something so big, so historical? Is this a silent protest, a warning?

Obama did a drive-by to Hawaii, when he went to visit his grandmother just prior to her death. By now, you don't even have to be a conspiracy theorist to suspect that he was there seal his Kenyan birth records. I did a timeline on his visit, and I figured he had roughly two hours to say goodbye to granny, before he was back stumping on the West Coast. I came down on him hard for that, and rightfully so. I figured that would be the height of my indignation for him, and that he could no longer surprise me, as far as his treatment of his family was concerned. But Barry found new heights to hypocrisy, not even attending his granny's funeral. That's just wrong!

With the election complete, Obama accomplished the single greatest achievement of his life. He is the first ^[1]Black, excuse me, African scam artist to be elected president of the United States, so you would think he would finally pay real homage to his fallen matriarch? No. But Michelle's mother is rumored to be moving into the White House.

Apparently Obama has shown the nation and the world his true disdain for family, or at least his White family, in this very Obamaesque move. With the death of his granny, Obama is now free from the shackles of even fleeting memories of his White heritage.

As the saying goes, "as he treats him mother, so shall he treat you."

The Bailout – Part II

The Black Sphere learned today that GM will sell its stake in Suzuki for $230M. I equate this to you and me having to take the little "crotch rocket" to the pawn shop, so that we can make the mortgage payment. For GM, $230M is "chump change", and they are still hopeful for 'Uncle Sugar' to "help a brotha out"!

The auto industry, like most American households has run 'fat, dumb, and happy', as the saying goes. The idea that somehow, "we will make it through" is the prevailing thought, despite the fact that there is more "outgo" than "income". I mean, how many quarters of losing billions of dollars does one need to have before tightening the belt?

When I was in college my freshman year, I lived off-campus and my rent was almost half my "take home" pay. I was willing to incur the expense, because I had my own "pad". So occasionally I would get behind on my bills a few of hundred dollars.

When that happened, I would call my big brother, explain my problem, and he would spot me the "pocket change" (for him) until my next paycheck. This "deficit spending" would occur 2-3 times during my Frosh year. Big bro was my backup plan, my line of credit, my bank, and thankfully he was always there to "bail me out" on these rare occasions.

By the time I was a senior I was interning in my "real job", and no longer working for $6.83 an hour, but making an "annual salary" of around $36K. My bills had grown accordingly. I won't take you through the play-by-play, just suffice it to say that I continued my "deficit spending", just on a larger scale, now needing the occasional $2000 or more to get by. The frequency of my bailouts increased, as did my time for repayment.

So one day, I was summoned by my "bank", whereby he sat me down, and told me, and I quote: "I am not here for your indulgence." He further explained that he had his own obligations which superseded mine, and thus he was cutting my credit line.

He informed me that I was showing "patterns of financial weakness", and that I needed to exercise more fiscal control. My "bank" felt that I needed to run my operation more efficiently.

Was he no longer "his brother's keeper"? I know he wouldn't let me starve, but the days of Steak and Ale had ended, and it was back to Whataburger for me. I had survived in "deficit spending" for over four years, but the gravy-train had left the station for the last time.

I had entered the real world. And thanks to that real world lesson, I learned relatively young that there will not always be a big brother to help you out. Thus you must be prepared for the rough patches, and they have occurred in my life and will continue to, I am sure.

So I say to the Financial Industry, the Auto Industry, and all the state governments, Big Brother is not here for your indulgence. Get your 'fat, dumb, and happy' houses in order!

Obama More ‘Lincolnesque’ Than I Thought?

President-elect Obama said his "adieu" to the Senate yesterday. The irony is that if Obama's departure from the Senate had been because he was going to get a regular job for instance, this story would have "page 14" of some suburban Chicago paper. Because as we all know, Obama did nothing significant during his tenure in the Senate.

People…correction: "Stupid people" are making comparisons to Obama inheriting an America that is comparable to that of President Lincoln's, a great American and Republican. I absolutely positively call BS on this!

A recent AP story makes a Lincolnesque reference to Obama being

"another son of Illinois who had left for Washington, a greater man who spoke to a nation far more divided."

Obama himself wrote,

"… and like Lincoln, I ask for your support, your prayers, and for us to "`confidently hope that all will yet be well.'"

I find it interesting that Obama continually wants to be compared to a Republican president, when the only thing they really share is the state that they represented in the Senate. And Lincoln was born in Illiois, while everybody knows that Obama was born in Kenya. I wonder if they had the same trouble getting Lincoln to produce his birth certificate, as we are having getting a "look-see" at Barry's?

But I won't come down too hard on this young Kenyan king for wanting to "right" his "left". Good for him. Perhaps he has seen the error of his ways? Doubtful. Remember, he is the smartest president ever, according to the Liberals. I guess he is referencing a great Republican president, because Lord knows he doesn't have any good Democrat role models…look it up!

What does bother me is this idea of a "civil war" that is brewing within America. Why? Because I actually concede there is a civil war brewing in America. However, it is a war created by Obama and the Liberals!

Obama, the so-called "uniter" has been the most polarizing agent of change that I have seen in my lifetime. The obvious battles are Blacks against Whites, and rich against poor. But there are other battles waging, the newest of which is Blacks against Gays. Personally, I am thrilled to see the fratricide happening inside the Liberal ranks. This battle has the potential to become a war, and the spoils of this war will undoubtedly help the Conservative movement, I predict. Will there be backlash from Gays against the church? Sure. But what else is new. But the real battle will wage, Black against Gay, and Gay against Black. Get your popcorn, Conservatives!

In this last election, Obama unwittingly tipped the simmering hot cauldron that had been at equilibrium waiting for a catalyst. You see the boiling issues of the civil rights movement for Blacks and the 'marriage' rights of Gays and Lesbians has been a backroom discussion...until now.

The collision of the presidential election and Prop 8 brought the discussion from the living rooms of Black and Gay Americans and put it on "Front Street", as Blacks say. But it's a debate that the Gays simply can not win, as I said in a previous blog entitled "'Blacklash' Against Gays". And Gays will likely find that Blacks are highly protective of their fight for civil rights, and so are Gay Blacks. It's one thing to lose a job, but it's a whole other to lose one's dignity.

So perhaps Obama is more Lincolnesque than I am giving him credit? Ok, I admit laughing at the absurdity of that comment as I wrote it. Nevertheless, even if by accident Obama has gotten Blacks to look more introspectively, maybe they will conclude that they are indeed Conservatives. And if we really get lucky, they will no longer vote, "…based on the color of one's skin, but by the content of their character". This lesson goes for you Gays too!
