Obama's Latest Jobs Numbers

If you enjoy my work, then please continue to support what I do here. Drag in a friend or two, buy my book or even 100…hey, it’s only money, Stingy! And get a t-shirt. They make good cleaning rags. I hope you enjoy my Holiday Cheer.

It’s About the Numbers by Kevin Jackson

The lamestream, state-run media is always good for a laugh, and this laugh has to do with the recent jobless claim. They are exuberant because as the AP headline reads, “New jobless claims fall unexpectedly to 457K”. So only 475 THOUSAND people lost their jobs this go-round! Come to think of it, that IS good news in Obama’s vida loca.

First-time claims for unemployment insurance dropped by 5,000 to a seasonally adjusted 457,000, the lowest total since the week of Sept. 6, 2008, the Labor Department said Thursday. Wall Street economists expected an increase, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.
Would you let a Wall Street economist babysit your “chirrens?” Me neither! So the idea that they expected an increase is supposed to actually mean something? Plus, aren’t we supposed to be mad at Wall Street for something?

Well I didn’t get my degree from Wall Street, but I do speak “economy”—it’s similar to Austrian. And what the economy is saying is that it has cut the fat, and is now cutting into muscle! Actually, the economy has been cutting muscle like a Jihadist since Jan of 2009, and putting band aids throat cuts. Yet AP can see the positive signs in all of this as they continually point out in their article, saying quite contradictory that they expect the economy to continue to add jobs, as it…cuts more jobs.

The economy hasn't found a bottom and its unlikely to find a bottom before summer 2010 - if then. The Administration makes precisely the wrong decisions and Joe (Slow Joe) Biden continually proclaims victory.

Nobody is fooled. The media isn't fooled, but they pretend to be and revel in their own lunacy.

How about the unemployment rate among blacks being ~17.5% compared to 9.5% for whites?

Could that be the reason Obama's approval among black Democrats is [finally] starting to decline?

The can create 111 new bureaucracies in healthcare with the associated jobs and it won't increase the standard of living in the USA one iota. It will decrease it.

What we need is production. Drilling! Let private enterprise produce without excessive taxation and regulation.

The liberal leftist mindset is one of absolute inflexible opportunism. Once they set their mind as to reality, whatever they imagine is it. That is called delusional for anyone else. For them it is every day and they tell each other that they are sane.

When the nation collapses because of everything they've done, they will be chased out of office and go to their dying days never believing for a moment that they had any responsibility for what they did, and believing that everything they did was godlike in genius and the rest of us screwed it up for them.

The free will of others is an evil thing in the mind of a liberal.

And now they're all over in Copenhagen feeding more Scam-Fries to the gullible. Harry Reid just said "The GOP would have voted for Slavery". You have GOT to jump on this one Kev. What an idiot! It was the Republican Party that freed the slaves. God help us all.

Fear. Greed. Those two words explain why politicians want to hide the FairTAx gorilla in the closet! They hope taxpayers won't see that FairTax option! Shhh. Don't tell anyone. The FairTax would strip power from politicans who would no longer be able to play with the tax code like a naughty school boy hoping your money will keep coming to him/her anytime they need the rush. Pass the FairTax and say goodbye to the political hands grabbing your money through tax increases or tax exemptons - both are the same. The FairTax would require a vote of the people before tax rates could change. Gee, what will happen to those poor folks on planet Washington DC when they can't promise tax breaks in exchange for votes and campaign contributions? I can hear them choking now.gasping for breath as they discover they have to run on substance, not stealth.
