Racism Solved

The UN met recently on the subject of racism, Interestingly enough, the most racially diverse country in the world—the United States—refused to attend the meeting. How ironic is that? One would think that Obama would have leapt at the chance to showcase his ability to cross the racial divide.

The election of Obama was supposed showcase America's new era of tolerance, and be a beacon to the world—or did I misread the memo? The election of a "black" man was to prove to the America and the world that America was not the hate-filled, bigot-ladened country that the world perceives us to be. After all, we had elected a man that only a few decades ago would have been forced to drink from a segregated water fountain, due to the racist policies of Democrats. So after decades of racist Democrat oppression, America elected its lowest of the low—the least common denominator of American culture. America elected a black man…GASP!

So racism in America should officially be over, right? And if Obama's election is truly a beacon for the world, then racism should have ended all over the world, right? The Palestinians were to lay down their arms against Israel, as were other Muslim nations and Iran. Genocide around the world and religious persecution should now become footnotes in history…anecdotes.

Yet we still have Iran threatening to blow up Israel, North Korea threatening their own ethnic brothers down south, genocide in Darfur, and a host of other atrocities. And in America Democrats are still persecuting blacks and liberals going after conservatives with a vengeance!

We not only have increased the racial divide, we have expanded the discussion beyond race. We now have friendship and familial divides. With the election of Obama, there are more people in America today who have lost long-term friendships, than over likely any president in history. I personally lost a friend of 28 years, because he didn't like that I wouldn't support a do-nothing, no talent hack like Obama.

Further, relatives are not speaking to each other over Obama's election. One example is I was recently contacted by acquaintances who said that their daughter-in-law doesn't want them, the grandparents to see her children, because the grandparents did not support Obama. She called her in-laws racists. I have heard many such cases.

To get into the mindset of racism, you have to understand that racism is built on the notion of somebody being better than somebody else. Racism is a form of elitism. My race is better than your race. And racism reaches it tentacles into societal issues, such as rich being better than poor, for example. Elitism.

Most people prefer to be rich. So I ask all poor people, "Do you feel that because somebody is richer than you, they are better than you?" A doctor's job is more prestigious than a janitor's job. I ask all janitors, "Do you believe that doctors are better than you?" Racist Democrats have taught us that whites are supposed to be better than blacks, so I ask all blacks, "Do you think that whites are better than blacks?"

Here's the wrap:

From this black man's perspective, those questions highlight the idiocy of the idea is that in order to celebrate the ascension of Obama, a black man to the highest office in the free world, I must consider myself "lowly" to begin with. Black people were treated badly. That's a cross for racist Democrats to bear. Just because you called me a nigger, doesn't make it so--at least in my mind. Get it?

I have not, nor have I ever been lesser than any man by birthright, regardless of his color. That is not to say that there are not better men than I. There are. But they are better based on their merit, not their ethnicity or their incomes. Racist Democrats tried to indoctrinate me, and many other blacks to believe that white is indeed better than black--a lie believed by many blacks to this day.

Racist Democrats and their ilk all around the world are the reason that racism existed in the past, and continues to exist to this day. They encourage people to consider themselves "lesser"—they encourage stupidity. Black people line up to buy stupidity by the six-pack, and the world buys it in 50-gallon drums.

So I say to the UN, that you can eradicate racism, when you start telling individuals that they are all equally important in the world, and not lowly peons. You should tell countries that they should not feel "lowly" in comparison to the US, but should celebrate what they can become.

Point? There is no real racism in the world; just a lot of people and countries who think small.

I think that the industry of racism in this country, (run by democrats) along with the democrat mind's yearning for collectivism leads them to put people in neat and tidy groups. That's an inherently racist view.

Like MLK said, Only when we look at the content of each person's character as an individual can we move past racism. Democrats just aren't there yet. How they managed to swindle his great words for their "causes" is beyond me.

Individualism and individual rights (the conservative's view and what our founding fathers were trying to do) is the only way to get past this. Democrats argue that the founding fathers promoted Slavery by not abolishing it then, but what I believe is that what they did was lay the groundwork for where we are today even though politically at the time they just weren't allowed.

My guess is there were some racist Democrats in their midst at the time.

As always, great read Kevin. Your radio show kicked butt last night!

IMHO, democrats saw an opportunity to garner votes by targeting blacks for a scam-dilicious marketing spin, offering empathy for their plight, and demonizing the opposing party. genius! during that time the majority of blacks were poor and under-educated. it worked, eventually leading to this obamanation nightmare we're living in.

sadly, today under-educated blacks still outnumber the intelligent ones. and under-educated goes arm in arm with low self-worth. obama was elected, among other dishonorable reasons, so that a lot of blacks can feel better about themselves.

nice thought-provoking post, kevin.

Funny how the members of the UN are better at performing, perpetuating and implementing racism and then they have a conference on racism. I think it was a meeting to promote racism, maybe Chairman Zero declined for this reason.

Great post. My husband and his best friend are just beginning to communicate again after three weeks of silence. He called my husband a racist while they were eating dinner with several co-workers at a crowded restaurant. This is occurring in the remote outback of Nebraska, by the way. My husband is very proud of the Obama's as Americans and loves the thought of their girls in the White House, but he is not qualified, he hates the country and is motoring us towards socialism at light speed. If you can't deal with that reality, better not to bring up the topic.

It drove me crazy how my high school (mostly the history department) seemed hell-bent on making every white kid feel inherently guilty by showing that all black people need our help. That none of them will ever succeed without our pity and condescension. I went into that school never thinking much about skin color and came out of it with that residual subliminal message from my history teacher going off in my head: look! Those poor people, from the ghetto! At least I know where that message came from...

I can not for the life of me understand what the benefit is of obsessing over the color of your skin and letting everything that happens in your life revolve around that. Why dwell on what other people think or have thought on your group when you can focus on your individual self and, as you put it, "celebrate what" you "can become"? If the first thing you think of when you see a person is their skin color, isn't that the gateway to racism?

Another thing we learned, from our US history teacher, was that the racist Democrats were "actually Republicans". After talking about all the Republican efforts to end slavery, one student was naturally confused (because Republicans are evil, and moreover, like to eat black babies for breakfast) so our teacher resolved the issue by saying "well, in those days, the republican and democrats' values were basically switched. so Lincoln would be a democrat now."

You all know what damage that did. Off with their heads. Plus I am the eldest female child, forced to take care of all my siblings and do all the housework, racism at its highest. Off with their heads. Then I have being female. Lower wages, lack of promotions, sexual innuendo's, Oh my, how did I make it to over a half a century. But the king, Obama won't fight for us all at the UN. Gee, racism again. Help me Kevin, Help me. Did I mention I am built for comfort and not speed, more racism against us poor fat people. Racism has been almost since the beginning of time, soon after Adam and Eve were created. There has been racism towards every race that exist. It will never end, all each of us can do is not to be one ourselves and meet God in good conscience.
To tell the truth I feel that all the people who voted for Obama because he is black are racist against whites. Now when I see black people I think "do they hate me because I am white?" I have been all over the world, been friends with people of varied nationalities and color and know there is good and bad in every race. I can be friends with anyone, but will they be friendly back?

After this post I am strongly inclined to buy your book. We *are*, more or less, created equal- what we do after that changes things. The fatal flaw in liberal thinking is that we *stay* equal, in spite of the ample evidence to the contrary. The fact that our actions dictate how we become unequal almost entirely explains disparity of income and opportunity. Welfare, except in rare cases, is a penalty on the achievers for the bad choices of underachievers.

I'm waiting for someone to call Janeane Garafalo a no-talent hack to her face and have her agree that her position in life is entire due to good fortune and not due to any effort on her part. If she truly believe the liberal twaddle she pushes, she *must* agree.

Kevin and others,

Amen. I hope this is not a stupid question: Do you think Obama is really pulling the strings here? He doesn't seem to be operating on all four cylinders. He doesn't appear to be bright at all. In fact,he and his wife act like they are from the hood.He tries and I mean tries to be cool. I think we have a man with the mind of a child here who is playing president. I can say this because I am a black woman. I know who I am and what I have been blessed with. I thank God for that! If he is a puppet, then who is really pulling the strings here? I think it's racist because they won't let a "black" man be president. His family background is troubling to me. His mother was an atheist and he went to a muslim school in Indonesia, there really was no relationship with his father. There's something sinister about all of this. Am I crazy for asking you this?

@mizsandy - Yes, I do think Obama is pulling the strings, but he is "asking for input." He and his entire staff are "flying blind," and they will continue this course until something devastating interrupts them. They believe they have a mandate, which of course they do not!

Anonymous said...

MizSandy,

the libs will call you names for noticing this stuff but--

Obama won't talk about several years of his life. He visited Pakistan in the early '80s when Americans couldn't get in there. He was undoubtedly using his Indonesian passport, as a citizen of that country. And it undoubtedly said his last name was Soetero, his most recent stepfather.

His Muslim school records in Indonesia list his religion as Muslim.

His mother wasn't just atheist, she was devoted communist, and one of her beaus was frank Marshall Davis, a black communist well known for wacko writings.

I believe the birth certificate and college records and all that are not appearing because too many of them say "soetero" on them and perhaps they say he's citizen of Indonesia.

I'm sure he was born in hawaii, but there's other things in that paperwork he cannot allow us to see.

And since almost every government and educational bureaucracy is staffed with pure liberals, NOBODY is ever going to leak or sneak these documents into the public.

SO we just grind our teeth and wait.

But don't think you're crazy. You're just doing the job the liberal media USED to do.

Big Dave

Maggie said...

I am a white middle class Australian woman. I am not a WASP because I am a Catholic. I understand very much what bigotry means because I have faced it in the past - during my school years. I have no time for that kind of thing.

I have friends in Sydney who think that it is a good thing that Obama has been elected. However, I think that they drank the Kool Aid, because they are thinking in terms of skin. They think he is intelligent but the only reason that they think along those lines happens to be that they believe the press lies about him.

On the other hand, I have been reading widely, and I have not been reading much of what is written by the MSM. I do not like what I read. Yet, there has to be another reason that I do not like Obama that is not related to skin colour. It is his demeanor I do not like it. There is something about his face, and his eyes that makes my skin crawl.

The colour of a person's skin is not the most important thing, since we are all the same underneath the skin. What makes a person is the way that they behave in public. Amongst the things that put me totally off Obama are his tantrums when he does not get his own way, and that is not all. I have seen those photos of Michelle with that really angry surly look on her face. It is ugly, and it mirrors her soul. That is not a nice thing to say, I am aware of that, but for some people, there is an ability to see people in a spiritual way - and when it happens it can make one's skin crawl (which has happened when dealing with a white man).

Last year I dealt with a black woman over the internet. This woman is from Chicago. Her photo makes her look cheeky. However, I soon learned that there was something else lurking. It could be that living in Chicago or near Chicago means that she has a lot of excess baggage including an exaggerated view of herself as a victim (bigotry). This woman is a professional architect, yet she was angry and all because she is black.
Yes it is true that women have felt the full force of discrimination. I went through it when I tried to get work upon graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce. The best excuse has to be that being a woman I would not stay in the job for a long time - even though the men move from job to job more often. I was even question about my (lack of) boyfriends. So yes I have been there and done that. In lots of ways it made me weaker, but I had other baggage in my background as well.

Seeing oneself as a victim is the worst possible situation. Yet, your Democrats thrive on ensuring that blacks, Hispanics and yes even homosexuals see themselves as victims. This is the way that they get and keep power.

I really do love reading your blog Kevin.

Maggie,
I have seen that spiritually in Obama and his wife,Michelle. The eyes are the mirror to the soul. There is a book that I see in the bookstore called The Audacity of Hope, and his eyes look evil. I mean that! They tend to follow you and it freaked me out.I wanted to deface the book and draw sunglasses on the cover.I probably would have been arrested. He is not worth going to jail for that. At least I can dream, can I? That book I think did not speak kindly of Obama. Michelle still looks angry and he acts like child to me.She is not a pretty woman because of the anger I sense she is carrying. It shows up on the outside. What is in the heart comes out,as the Word of God says.I see it in both of them. The elevator is not all there folks. Liberals make my skin crawl. They are stupid and hateful!

BO is an evil, racist, stupid jacka$$ (which explain's the democrat's mascot). Judging by the division being created all around the world, friendships being destoryed, this man is far more destructive than I thought.

Kevin, I am sorry about you losing a long time friend over politics/Obama. I too have lost a few due to politics. The funny thing is, I was reared to not discuss religion or politics with others. Regarding the U.S. not going to the U.N. racism summit; when I read that months ago, right after the inauguration, I was stupefied. I thought The Cool One was into talking with those of opposing opinions. Of course, now we (conservatives) know different.

One thing everyone seems to forget is how much money is made by those who "champion the cause of racism."

They don't go about championing an "end to racism." They champion the cause. Every time the slightest issue that can be termed "racist" is brought out by the national media, you have Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and others stepping in to renew their brand names, thus enabling them to increase their speaking fees and/or sell more books. This is simple marketing101.

The only way to truly end racism is to take the money out of it.

Thank you, Kevin. And you're right.

I just wish everyone in the world would aspire to effect that most important part of Martin Luther King Junior's dream when he said we should judge a person by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

I was young then, but I've remembered this always and tried to put it to practice. If the majority of us did the same, and taught our children to do the same, there would be no more money in racism, and racism itself would cease to be an issue. Without the smokescreen of the racism issue obscuring the content of character, we the People might better choose our leaders in future.

Love your blog, Kevin. Keep up the good work!
